Happy Labour Day! Or perhaps not so happy if you’re going back to school the next day… Maybe having some useful apps will make the new school year go by faster due to the proliferation of iPhones and iPads. I’ve even heard that iPads are a mandatory item on some school supply lists.
By now I think most people will have heard of Dropbox. If not, it’s a program that lets you share documents on multiple computers. That’s pretty useful if you’re a student with many homework files to access. Now you can do that on your iPhone and iPad as well. All you have to do is create a free account which will give you 2GB of storage space.
2. Flashcards +
What better way to study than with flashcards right on your portable device? This flashcards app will probably bring you back to the good old days when you had to memorize long lists of spelling words (Do kids still do that these days?). Anyway, now you can carry multiple sets of flashcards with you everywhere. You can also download different languages for better retention of the words. Plus, it’s ad free!
Sparknotes is now available for the iPhone and the iPad! I fondly remember using it many times to study right before an English test. They have some pretty good summaries there! The app also lets you check in at places where you’re studying. Now with a portable version, you can study anytime and anywhere.
Did I mention that these are all free? =) Happy Studying!
