“When you gotta go, you gotta go.”
I bet whoever came up with this saying never had to clean up a wetting accident before. Parenting life has a lot of challenges, but few are more irksome than that bit of unfinished business. You may remember the app “Potty Time with Elmo” from a few weeks back. It’s okay if you don’t, because I have two more apps for turning those trainings from frustrating to fun!
For the iPhone family, a popular all-in-one app is “I Love Potty Training.” It costs $1.99 and comes jam-packed with interactive eBooks for both boys and girls, a progress tracker, and a game for teaching your toddler what can and cannot go into the toilet (very cute game). The only problem with this app is that your toddlers may not want to leave the big white throne!
For Android users, the “Potty Training Alarm Clock” is the way to go. This app lets you record your own washroom chants or songs to remind children to use the washroom. If all else fails, these flushable floating Tinkle Targets may at least encourage the boys to go.
