Learning about Firefighting While Coloring!

Challenging educational apps that feature an endless assortment of bells and whistles are great. Really, they are. But sometimes, just sometimes, don’t you feel like going a tad old school? Don’t you think it’ll be nice to have a simple, no-frills kid’s app without any crazy algorithm or animations?

Maybe not, but I’m going to show you one anyways.

Everyone, say hi to Firefighter Dress-Up, a straightforward yet nonetheless sweet coloring app created by the husband and wife duo from Jumpseewow.

Designed to familiarize children with firefighters and their protective gears, the app features four different characters to dress and color. From helmets to boots, kids can snap on all the pieces of the firefighter’s costumes before coloring in the clothing and background.

You can also add a picture bubble for the character and take a photo to save your work of art.

As Firefighter Dress-Up is designed for kids, there are no third party advertising, no in-app purchases, and no tracking. Sounds fab to me.
