Kiddology is looking for a transmedia blogging team with knowledge in digital media and an interest in children’s entertainment and development. The blogging team interns will work with the community manager to curate and develop interactive storytelling content to increase engagement via multiplatfrom narratives within Kiddology’s social-media followers.
Interns will work on individual and team oriented social meda projects, while having the opportunity to gain event-planning experience through upcoming game launch events and marketing initiatives.
-Work with the community manager to develop and execute social media campaigns.
-Work with Kiddology game characters to create engaging experiences for children via cross-platform narratives using photography, illustrations and video.
-Research and design unique infographics based on industry trends.
-Work with the social media team to curate digitally savvy content and access opportunities to showcase transmedia work in GTA events.
-Conduct research for blog posts, including reading other blogs, interviews, asking questions on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn.
-Write a minimum of 2-3 blog posts per week for posting on our website or as guest posts on other websites.
-Work with social media team to determine timing and content for cross-platform projects.
-Passionate about story-telling and transmedia.
-Basic understanding of blogging and social media tools
-Knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator and Aftereffects is an asset.
-Creative, outgoing and a team player.
-College or University student studying Early Childhood Education/Communications/Journalism or Media.
-Fast learner with leadership skills
-This is an unpaid part-time summer internship (June -August)
-Estimated weekly hours are 5-10 hours per week.
-Create a portfolio of your published work and gain access to multiple networking opportunities within GTA’s digital media and star-up communities.
-Work in our downtown office or at home with access to multiple resources and knowledgable software, social media and artistic experts who can help develop creative ideas and bring them life.
